What is the difference between an AI agent and an AI workflow?

How do you measure if an AI system is working?

Is AI infrastructure worth building in-house?
It depends on whether the use case is core to the operation or peripheral. Core use cases benefit from in-house architecture because the system has to keep working under the company's specific operational constraints. Peripheral use cases tend to be served better by mature off-the-shelf tools. The build/buy call is a consulting question more than a technology question.
How do you keep AI systems working when models change?
Architecture that decouples model selection from the surrounding system: defined output schemas, evaluation harnesses, prompt versioning, and the ability to swap models without rebuilding the integration layer. Systems that bake the model deep into the workflow tend to break expensively when the underlying model updates.
What about AI safety, hallucination, and risk?
